Sustainablility

Goldy wants to make the fashion industry sustainable. Not just “more sustainable"

Goldy likes things old(y). We use as few new materials as possible. All of our fabrics are pre-existing. And we make high-quality clothing meant to last a long time.

Goldy also likes to take things slow. Our dream is not to make and sell as many clothes as possible. Instead, we take our time when developing new clothes, making sure we get the look and fit just right. Once we’ve created a new style, we use the more sustainable model of custom order drops, producing limited quantities. That way, each piece we make already has a home.

Overall, our brand hopes to contribute to a better future by focusing on sustainability and holding ourselves accountable.

Down Feathers

All of our Vests are filled with European Down that is certified Responsibly Sourced. This means the birds are not force fed or live plucked. Additionally, the down is a byproduct of the food industry. The idea is to use all parts of the bird so that nothing goes to waste. Goldy's supplier works closely with their farms and regraly preforms audits on their supply chain. By using down rather and a synthetic filler, Goldy will be using less material because down has a higher warmth to weight ratio.

Hi, I’m Zoe!

The proud creator of Goldy and the hands behind every stitch. Goldy was born out of my passion for fashion and my desire to create something that didn’t contribute to the growing problem of fast fashion and textile waste. After years of seeing how much perfectly good fabric goes unused, I decided to take action. I began sourcing deadstock materials—high-quality, leftover fabrics that would otherwise end up in the landfill (discarded)—and transforming them into one-of-a-kind clothing pieces.

At Goldy, I believe that sustainability should never come at the cost of style. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and crafted with care, making it truly unique and environmentally friendly. I’m all about mindful, conscious fashion—helping you look great while feeling great about your impact on the planet.

Thanks for being here and for supporting slow, sustainable fashion. Let’s make the world a little greener, one stitch at a time!
